White House Garden, Yay!
The groundbreaking for the White House Kitchen Garden took place today. I’m am extremely excited about the whole concept of a garden at the White House. Like the White House Victory Garden of the past I think this will inspire record numbers of people to plant their own gardens. This is an amazing avenue to eat well for relatively little money. You can’t buy the quality of food that you can grow in your own garden in most supermarkets. For a $4 starter pack plus the cost of water you can have your veggie of choice fresh for a whole season. Frugal and healthy. Win Win.

Barack-Handed Complient
Generally when watching the Daily Show or the Colbert Report (shall we say Repor?) I’m surprised by the deeper meaning behind it all. The general ridiculousness of the show throws off your guard. For instance at the end of a long tirade Colbert concludes, “The point is, it is possible to damn Obama with our praise. Because the more we praise Obama for cynical, old-school political maneuvering, the more we can make it seem that nothing he does will feel like change.”
Pro Obama slant
Cabinet members who don’t agree with Obama will help him run the country better
Brack-Handed compliment
Obama keeps his enemies close… he is the master political maneuver!
Pro Obama slant
Obama is planning to engage the UN and the US will become a respected world power once again
Brack-Handed compliment
By participating in the UN, Obama can make sure the UN goes the way America wants
